Flora
Rushes of Magnocaricion assembly, dominating in the Park are represented by 14 plant associations, rushes of Phragmition assembly by 7 associations, and water vegetation by 12 association. There are also meadow and herbaceous communities here, as well as 2 willow shrub and 4 forest associations. Xerothermic plants can be found on small dry-ground islands among marshes. Cross-sectional zonal character of vegetation have been preserved in many places, starting with water communities, through immersed communities - deeply flooded in annual intervals, emerged communities with sedge and mosses, and finishing with alder carrs growing at the edges of the valley. Many plant communities found in the Park rarely occur in the country. In total about 200 species of vascular plants were found in the Park area, including 13 protected species.
