On 24th March we met Mr. Marek Małolepski, inhabitant of Wronie, who do (zbroje) and other elements of knight’s equipment. He is in Knights’ Host in Chełmno.          His passion connected with the history of middle ages started in his childhood. He told us which materials he uses to make individual elements. We got known for example, armaments for arms and legs and helmets are made of sheet metal, which is 1,5 milimeter wide and swords are made of spring sheet metal. Making complete armament takes much time, because this is an occupation, which is making after work, in free time- making a chain mail garment can take even half a year. Mr. Marek make his armaments, swords etc. in his flat and in a field smithy. As he says, he makes armaments not for money, but for his own satisfaction (armaments made by him goes to people, who register themselves to different knights guilds too), but his „works” are shown in museums and they are prices on different knights competitions and even on Grunwald too (on the inscenizations of battle under Grunwald).
